The room was really nice, big, and cozy, with a comfy bed and a balcony to chill on. 🌿 the location was super convenient, right in the heart of everything, near a cool shopping street and a bakery for those breakfast pastries.

Vila Nova was in a prime location, right outside Marques de Pombal and close to many bus stops as well as the airport shuttle stop. The wifi was reliable, and the rooms were decent for the price paid.
The only problem we had was with the a/c vent, which was located right above the bed in our room. It was not very comfortable, especially for someone with allergies. It is also important to note that there is a charge for use of the same inside the room.

Well-Located hotel in refurbished building just off the Avenida Liberdade. Friendly, helpful staff. My room was on the newly redecorated 4th floor and the bed and shower were well above what you would expect from this price-range. Large fridge/ soft drink mini-bar was a bonus.
Only downside was lack of breakfast

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful; we were given a lot of information about Lisbonb on our arrival . Some refurbishement was being done at the moment of our stay but no problem as the residencial will be better next time we will visit it because there is going to be a next time, of course! The location was superb.

Great location (the metro station is only about 100 meters far and it is only 4 stops to the city center, which take only 5 minutes). I stayed at single room and it was big enough, especially for the europian standards. The room was clean and very bright, great choose of colors. The bathroom was big and comfy. The guy at the reception was friendly, spoke fluent english and was very helpful. WiFi worked like a charm. I'd recommend Vila Nova to those who seek a budget-friendly hotel and want to explore the city without having fancy overpriced facilities.

The location is good- 1 minute walk from metro/bus station. The staff is friendly. There is a cafe on the first floor (of the building) with cakes|sandviches|coffee. There is a conditions in the room and wifi free. The price is friendly too.
We travelled in March and closed windows for night, but when you open the window- it's rather loudly outside.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
